WHO: These are the ten greatest global health crises in the year 2019

The ten biggest threats to Health in the year 2019

The world is facing numerous health challenges. New waves of infectious diseases such as measles and diphtheria, the increase in drug-resistant rates of enter pathogens, increasing obesity, the health effects of environmental pollution and climate change, as well as numerous humanitarian crises. The world health organization recently published a report on the ten biggest global health threats we face in the year 2019.

At the beginning of the year 2019, the WHO a new Five-year strategy plan to combat global health threats. According to the WHO, this Plan focuses on the self-imposed Three-billion-target: A billion people to get more access to General health care, a billion people will be against health emergencies protected and a billion people will generally enjoy better health and well-being. To excluded this purpose, the health organization of the biggest global threats, the need to fight against it.

Air pollution and climate change

According to the WHO, nine, breathe in a day of ten people, polluted air. The air pollution will be considered in 2019 as the largest environmental risk to health. According to the WHO, the microscopic pollutants from the air in the respiratory and circulatory system to penetrate and thus damage the lungs, heart and brain. This would be a year to seven million premature cases of cancer, stroke, heart disease, and lung disease. Around 90 percent of these deaths would take place in countries with low and middle income. Here are the emissions from industry, traffic and agriculture are particularly high. As the main cause for air pollution, the WHO announced the burning of fossil fuels.

Non-communicable diseases

According to the WHO, non-communicable diseases such as Diabetes, cancer and heart diseases for more than 70 percent of all global deaths (41 million people) are responsible. 15 million people succumb to already between the ages of 30 and 69 years of such diseases. Here, too, showed: Over 85 percent of these premature deaths in low-and middle-income. The WHO borders on five main risk factors for these diseases: tobacco use, physical inactivity, harmful alcohol consumption, unhealthy diet and air pollution.

Global Influenza-Pandemic

The world will face another Influenza pandemic, predict the WHO experts. The global defense mechanisms are only as effective as the weakest link in the preparedness and response system. The WHO is monitoring constantly the spread of Influenza viruses in order to detect potential pandemic strains. Currently, 153 institutions in 114 countries working on the global Monitoring of the virus. From these data, the recommendations to emerge each year which strains should be included in the flu vaccines to people the best possible protection.

Crisis areas and poor basic services

As the WHO reports, more than 1.6 billion people (22 percent of the world’s population) in places where long-lasting predominance of the end of crises like drought, famine, wars and displacement of the population. Such conditions were associated in the rule with weak health services and poor basic services.

Resistant Germs

The development of antibiotics, antivirals and antimalarials, is one of the greatest Successes of modern medicine. The time for the effectiveness of these drugs could be according to the WHO soon come to an end. Increasing antibiotic resistance threaten us in a time to send it back, we infectious diseases such as pneumonia, tuberculosis, gonorrhoea and salmonellosis are no longer able to treat.

Ebola and other pathogens with a high pandemic Potential

In the year 2018, there was according to the WHO, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo-two Ebola outbreaks, which spread to cities with more than a Million people. Crises and rough terrain hampered the containment of the outbreak values. This shows that the context in which an epidemic breaks out, it can be critical for the development of a pandemic. The WHO reported that, in particular, Ebola, hemorrhagic fever disease, Zika, Nipah, corona virus (MERS-CoV) and SARS-have viruses, the potential for severe pandemics.

Impfzögern

The reluctance or refusal prior to vaccination, despite available vaccines to promote according to WHO, the spread of preventable diseases. According to WHO, every year two to three million deaths per year are prevented by vaccination. A further 1.5 million deaths could be avoided if the tolerance for vaccinations, could the world be improved. The WHO refers to a lack of trust as one of the main reasons why people deliberately choose not to a vaccination.

Dengue

The Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne disease that causes flu-like symptoms. In about 20 percent of the cases a severe course, which can even be fatal. According to the WHO, Dengue fever represents, for decades, an ever-growing threat. The disease originally had to the tropical disease, spread, but increasingly also in more temperate countries. Meanwhile, 40 percent of the world are threatened by Dengue fever. Annually there would be approximately 390 million infections.

HIV

The research has made tremendous progress against HIV. However, the WHO has declared the epidemic is still a long way for defeat. Still every year, around one million people would die of HIV / AIDS. Estimated to be infected worldwide, around 37 million people living with HIV. Risk groups according to the WHO, a prostitute, people in prison, and gay men. In addition, the African areas were affected South of the Sahara, is particularly strong. Approximately 25 percent of all HIV infections would take place in this area. (vb)

Chris Pratt's Son Helped Play Matchmaker in His New Relationship

He may have been back in the dating game, but Chris Pratt didn’t let that get in the way of his cherished quality time with son — and his now-fiancée Katherine Schwarzenegger didn’t mind one bit. In fact, Pratt’s son played an important role in his relationship with Schwarzenegger and even factored into her realization that she’d found “the one.”

Pratt and Schwarzenegger, who got engaged earlier this week, often had an adorable third wheel on their dates: Pratt’s six-year-old son, Jack, from his previous marriage to Anna Faris. “Instead of mostly enjoying solo, romantic dates, Chris’ son from early on was a very big part of their dating life,” a source told People. “Katherine never minded that her dates with Chris many times involved a kid activity, like a matinee movie, or going to Disneyland. Katherine is like a big kid and loves doing activities with Jack. She loves that Chris is a dad.”

The source also shared that, although Schwarzenegger doesn’t have kids, she loved seeing Pratt interact with Jack — and it’s one of the reasons she realized early on that the two are meant to be.

Proving that she has Jack’s best interests front and center, Schwarzenegger is totally on board with living in the same neighborhood as Faris so Pratt and his ex-wife can more easily co-parent. In fact, Faris and Pratt’s divorce terms include an agreement to live within five miles of each other until Jack finished sixth grade. Faris even told SheKnows that she and Pratt make sure to have family dinners with Jack so he continues to feel connected to both his parents.

Shortly before announcing their engagement, Pratt posted a “moving day” video to Instagram as he helped Schwarzenegger move out of her Santa Monica home.

Basically, this whole big blended family is #coparentinggoals — and we’re so glad that Jack is getting an awesome stepmom as part of the deal.

Sold mushrooms have a 30 Times higher Vitamin D content: Are those mushrooms at all healthy?

Buying land offers Vitamin-D-mushrooms: How to make sense of these mushrooms are?

The food retail chain the country of purchase offers for some time mushrooms, the Vitamin D content must be increased by the irradiation with UVB-light 30 Times compared to conventional mushrooms. The Stiftung Warentest has taken the mushrooms now in more detail and explains how useful they are.

Widespread Vitamin D deficiency

In the past year, it was reported that around 60 per cent of children and young people have in this country more or less low values of Vitamin D. In addition, one study showed that about half of the over 65-Year-old from a Vitamin D deficiency, are affected. In General, the Vitamin D supply in Germany is considered to be defective. It makes sense, therefore, foods with Vitamin D to enrich, as this happens now for some mushrooms?

Now also available in Germany

German researchers have already reported years ago about Vitamin D-enriched mushrooms, which are sold in the UK and Ireland.

A few months ago, also of Swiss mushroom producers of mushrooms brought to the market, which are rich in Vitamin D.

And in the meantime, the food retail chain Kaufland in Germany, breeding mushrooms, which should be by the irradiation with UV-light, rich in Vitamin D.

But what is the Use of Vitamin D mushroom?

Mushrooms are briefly illuminated with UVB light

“30 x more Vitamin D” as in conventional cultivated mushrooms, “containing 100 grams of 125 percent of the recommended daily dose” – this is the label of the Vitamin-D-mushrooms, which are exclusive to the country of purchase in the offer, promises to be the Foundation goods test on their website reports.

200 grams will cost around two euros.

According to a communication from the food retail chain the mushrooms are briefly lights with UVB-light. According to the company, the Vitamin D content of mushrooms increased by 30 Times compared to conventional mushrooms.

The radiation mimics a process in nature – because the fungi form under the influence of sunlight and plenty of Vitamin D.

In the case of conventional breeding mushrooms that won’t happen, because they sprout in the light of day. The Vitamin D to support the health of bones and teeth.

The process was developed by Dr. Paul Urbain, nutrition scientists at the University hospital of Freiburg.

Be produced in the specific mushrooms from the company Pilz land in lower Saxony.

The irradiation process works

The Stiftung Warentest has sent the mushrooms back to the lab and reported on “test.de” whether or not the mushrooms actually bring something to the Vitamin D-the budget and whether the Vitamin D levels also votes.

The information, according to the experts, the Vitamin D content of mushrooms from seven different packages determined and found that the irradiation process works.

The Vitamin D levels are, on average, at 9.6 micrograms per 100 grams, well above the Held ordinary mushrooms.

A Sample of ordinary fungi, only about 0.3 micrograms of Vitamin D per were determined in 100 grams.

Based on the average value of the promise by the provider that the Vitamin-D-mushrooms 30 times more contain of the so-called sunshine vitamin.

Vitamin D levels vary significantly

However, the Vitamin D contents of the pack vary package. The lowest content was found in the mushrooms of a pack, was 5.3 micrograms of Vitamin D per 100 grams.

The highest salary was, however, at 15.1 micrograms. This value even exceeds the maximum level, the EU has set for these novel foods under the European Novel Food regulation: ten micro-grams per 100 grams.

An Overdose of Vitamin D do not need to worry about mushroom lovers yet. Even the Vitamin D-rich mushrooms you could eat, according to the test on duration daily, without hesitation several packs.

Because the Vitamin D contents of the special mushrooms, so much the Tester, refer to distinguish the precise Vitamin-D-indication on the package of 6.25 micrograms per 100 grams to as “slip carefully”.

In addition, the mushrooms were not named correctly: The Novel Food regulation requires that breeding in mushrooms treated with UV-radiation, “have a hot, UV-treated mushrooms (Agaricus bisporus)”.

But on the label the name “Vitamin D mushrooms” and “culture champignon only”.

Humans get Vitamin D primarily through sunlight

“Right now in the dark winter months many people suffer from a Vitamin D deficiency. Because the UVB-component in sunlight is too small for their Vitamin D production in the skin,“ says Dr. Paul Urbain.

“The stone mushrooms are, in particular, for vegetarians and Vegans with the ideal possibility of their Vitamin D requirements easily and to cover tastefully,” says the nutritionist.

It is important to know, however, that the man through the food only about ten to 20 percent of the Vitamin D needs.

Significant amounts are contained in oily fish such as herring and salmon. Smaller quantities provide, for example, egg yolks and Margarine, which may be enriched with Vitamin D.

Mainly the human Vitamin D, in particular for bone important to get, through the sun light in the summer half of the year.

Therefore, professional societies recommend, between March and October, two to three times per week to the face, hands, and arms uncovered and without sunscreen to the sun – midday sun should be avoided.

The Robert-Koch-Institute (RKI) according to the half of the time, in the otherwise unprotected a sunburn would occur.

Those who stay longer in the sun, you should protect with sunscreen. The body can store a supply of Vitamin D, which is sufficient for most people to get without deficiency symptoms about the dark time of the year.

Taking dietary supplements

Some people put the intake of Vitamin D preparations. This should, however, be basically discussed with the family doctor.

However, such supplements are not for all people is advisable, experts warn.

In addition, some of these preparations are not recommended, but even a risk, as shown Tests.

And the drug Commission of the German medical Profession (AkdÄ) pointed out that it can come to Overdose with Vitamin D preparations.

According to the Stiftung Warentest, the intake of Vitamin D supplements for certain at risk groups may be useful, for example, in Bedridden or people 65 and older, who can no longer make as good Vitamin D through the skin. (ad)

HPV vaccination rates remain critically low among younger adolescents in the U.S.

Only about 16 percent of U.S. adolescents have been fully vaccinated against human papillomavirus (HPV) by the time they turn 13, despite national recommendations that call for vaccination at 11 to 12 years of age. Published in the Journal of Infectious Diseases, the new findings highlight the need for stronger efforts to encourage HPV vaccination and to improve immunization rates in this key age group.

“Providers need to be aware that, while we have seen gains in HPV vaccination coverage, we are still falling behind at the younger ages,” says Robert A. Bednarczyk, PhD, of Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health and lead author of the study. “In general, we need to do a better job of recommending the HPV vaccine at the routine, adolescent, and well-child visits, with a particular focus on 11 to 12 years of age.”

Nearly 80 million people in the U.S. are currently infected with some type of HPV, a common virus transmitted through sexual contact. Every year, HPV causes approximately 34,000 cancers, including cervical, vaginal, and vulvar cancer in women; penile cancer in men; and mouth, throat, and anal cancer in women and men. The most recent version of the vaccine protects against seven of the most common types of HPV that cause cancer.

For the study, researchers analyzed 2016 data from a nationwide survey of parents conducted annually by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that includes vaccination information verified by providers. Overall, an estimated 43.4 percent of 13-to-17-year-olds were fully vaccinated against HPV. But only 15.8 percent of adolescents had received all recommended HPV vaccine doses by their 13th birthday, the analysis found. Among older teens, an estimated 34.8 percent of teens were up-to-date on their HPV vaccination by the time they turned 15.

Timely HPV vaccination at 11 to 12 years of age has several advantages. The immune response to the vaccine is stronger at a younger age, providing better protection against HPV infections and the cancers they can cause later in life. If an adolescent is vaccinated before age 15, only two doses of the HPV vaccine are required, instead of the three doses that are recommended for vaccination after this age. In addition, the HPV vaccine is one of three vaccines recommended for 11-to-12-year-olds that can be given at the same time. (The tetanus, diphtheria, and acellular pertussis [Tdap] vaccine and the meningococcal conjugate vaccine are the other recommended immunizations at these ages.)

The new analysis also found that adolescents with more than one health care provider were not as likely to be up to date on their HPV vaccination by age 13 or 15. These results highlight the need for good record keeping, effective use of state immunization information systems, and increased provider awareness to make sure these patients are not overlooked when considering vaccination opportunities, Bednarczyk says.

In a related editorial commentary, Melissa B. Gilkey, PhD, and Marjorie A. Margolis, MPSH, both of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and who were not involved with the new study, noted that the results indicate much work remains to achieve HPV vaccination rates in line with current U.S. guidelines.

“Fully realizing the potential of HPV vaccination will require a multi-faceted effort involving scalable health systems interventions, a greater understanding of geographic disparities in HPV vaccination coverage, and improved data on HPV vaccination,” they wrote in their commentary, which appears with the study in the Journal of Infectious Diseases. As the findings show, they noted, “vaccination timeliness is critically low and our work is far from complete.”

Sleep disorders? Here are 14 tips for a more relaxing night

Tips for a good night’s sleep

Sleep disorders are on the rise: The number of people in Germany, can bad sleep or to sleep through. The Figures of the DAK-health. Otherwise, your stomach and your intestines are busy, sleep is restless, and superficial. Have you slept in the middle woke up in the night, you should eat nothing. If you need light, use a dim lighting.

In your bedroom you should feel right at home. Pay attention to the correct temperature: 16 to 18 degrees Celsius are considered optimal. At night, it should be in the room really dark. If you have a street light shines in, Get light-absorbing curtains. You areas, to the extent possible, sources of noise out of the way. Ideally, the room should be only for the night, and not as a work room or store room.

In bed for only two things-sleep Pro: sleep and Sex

If possible, use the bed only for Sleep and Sex, if you want to. Do not watch TV, eat, read, ponder, argue, and do not call you in bed! Otherwise, you connect the place to sleep unconsciously with active activities that can disturb sleep. You go to bed, when you are really tired.

You can’t go to sleep, not lie awake in bed and roll around annoyed. Get up dear and go into a different room. Do you listen to something Boring, for example, quiet music. Lie down until you feel sleepy. If you can’t then fall asleep still, repeat the Whole thing. Get up in the morning, but always at the same time, if possible, even on weekends and in the holidays.

NAP of the day to prevent sleep in the night. You are then in the evening, not tired enough to sleep. It is particularly tricky to take a NAP in front of the TV or with the evening paper in the Hand: brings your sleep rhythm is pretty messed up.

Do NOT put parsley in your vagina! Doctor warn

Do NOT put parsley or other vegetables in your vagina, doctors warn after ‘irresponsible’ article claiming the herb can be used to induce a PERIOD

  • The article referred to parsley as an emmenagogue which can induce periods
  • It has been used in the past for at-home abortions, sometimes with fatal ends
  • Doctors have said there is no scientific evidence to back the claims

Doctors are warning women to not take the ‘irresponsible’ advice of putting parsley in their vagina to kick-start their period.

The bizarre suggestion was made by women’s magazine Marie Claire alongside other recommendations using food, drink and exercise.

Women may want to make their period come sooner as a means of controlling their cycle ahead of a holiday or special event.

According to the article, parsley is an emmenagogue – a substance that increases menstrual flow – which can ‘soften the cervix and level out hormonal imbalances’.

But doctors have now urged women to never insert vegetables into the vagina, as it could lead to health risks – including potentially death.

Doctors are warning women to not take the ‘irresponsible’ advice of putting parsley in the vagina to kick-start their period. According to the Marie Claire article, parsley is an emmenagogue which can ‘soften the cervix and level out hormonal imbalances’

Dr Shazia Malik, a London-based obstetrician-gynaecologist, told The Independent: ‘There is no evidence of any benefit to a woman of doing this, and clear risk of significant harm as deaths have been reported.

‘I would urge women not to insert anything unless they have taken proper medical advice.’

Dr Sheila Newman, an obstetrician-gynaecologist from New Jersey, also spoke of her concern over the practice, which is not medically advised. She branded it ‘irresponsible’.

WHAT DID THE ARTICLE CLAIM? AND WHY ARE WOMEN TRYING TO INDUCE THEIR PERIODS?

The bizarre suggestion to use parsley to induce periods was made by women’s magazine Marie Claire.

The herb was mentioned alongside other unusual recommendations, including other foods.

‘Parsley can help to soften the cervix and level out hormonal imbalances that could be delaying your cycle,’ the article said.

It added that this ‘helps your period come faster’.

The piece suggested women may want to make their period come sooner as a means of controlling their cycle ahead of a holiday or special event.

But two medics hit back and said that vegetables generally aren’t something that should be put in a vagina for any reason.

Mayo Clinic states ‘the presence of a vaginal foreign body may alter the normal bacterial flora of the vagina’, which can cause discharge, itching and pain.

She said: ‘That is not something that is recommended by gynaecologists.

‘There are only a few things that should go in your vagina and vegetables generally aren’t one of them.’

The Marie Claire article said: ‘While few of us would feature parsley as the main part of a dish, it turns out the herb is a mild emmenagogue and can help to kick-start your period, so you might want to look into some parsley recipes ASAP.

‘Parsley can help to soften the cervix and level out hormonal imbalances that could be delaying your cycle, helping your period come faster.

‘If you’re struggling to find a dish based on parsley, don’t panic – the most effective forms are said to be parsley tea and parsley vaginal inserts.’

Emmenagogues are defined in herbal medicine as a stimulant for menstrual flow but have no scientific studies to support this, and it is not used in practices.

It is not the first time parsley has been claimed to induce a period.

Bustle wrote in April 2015: ‘As any herbalist will tell you, emmenagogues are a family of herbs that stimulate blood flow in the pelvis and uterus, and can sometimes make your period come sooner.

‘The recommended dosage for these herbs is two to four cups a day, taken in tea form.’

Parsley has been used before as a herbal-medicine to induce home abortions, seen as ‘risk-free’ because it is natural.

The article said: ‘If you’re struggling to find a dish based on parsley, don’t panic – the most effective forms are said to be parsley tea and parsley vaginal inserts’

But in August last year, it was reported that a 24-year-old mother-of-two from Argentina had died after trying to induce a miscarriage by using parsley.

Her death happened a week after the Argentine Senate rejected a bill that would have legalised abortion up to 14 weeks.

Clairín, Argentina’s largest newspaper, reported that the victim, only referred to as Elizabeth, died of septic shock and infection.

Dr Newman said there are ways to manipulate the menstrual cycle, as the Marie Clare article suggested, but these should be discussed with your gynaecologist.’

MailOnline has contacted Marie Claire for comment.

WHAT ELSE HAVE DOCTORS WARNED WOMEN NOT TO PUT IN THEIR VAGINAS?

Apple cider vinegar

Experts urged women not to use trendy apple cider vinegar to ‘tighten’ their vaginas in October 2017 after online blogs and forums encouraged women to carry out the bizarre douching technique.

Aside from vinegar being completely ineffective at tightening the vagina, Professor Linda Cardozo from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London warns it could disrupt the organ’s delicate ‘good’ bacteria, putting women at risk of irritation and infections.

To maintain the vagina’s strength and tone, women should perform pelvic floor exercises regularly, Professor Cardozo recommends.

Cleansers, lubricants and wipes

Women who use intimate-health products are more at risk of bacterial, fungal and urinary tract infections (UTIs), research in April 2018 from the University of Guelph, suggested.

Vaginal sanitising gels raise women’s risk of developing a genital bacterial infection by almost 20 times and a yeast infection, like thrush, by eight times, a study found.

Intimate washes make women 3.5 times more likely to catch a bacterial infection and 2.5 times more at risk of a yeast infestation, the research adds.

Vaginal wipes double the risk of a UTI, while lubricants and moisturising creams increase women’s susceptibility to thrush by 2.5 times, the study found.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Jade Eggs

A gynecologist slammed Gwyneth Paltrow’s suggestion for women to put jade eggs up their vaginas as ridiculous and dangerous.

Writing on her lifestyle blog goop, the Hollywood actress claimed the $66 rocks boost orgasms, vaginal muscle tone, hormonal balance, and ‘feminine energy’.

Women, Paltrow explained through an interview with her ‘beauty guru/healer/inspiration/friend’, should clench the egg inside them all day to exercise their pelvic floor.

But acclaimed gynecologist Dr Jen Gunter warned in January 2019 that the whole idea is nonsense – and could even increase the risk of bacterial vaginosis or deadly toxic shock syndrome.

Vaginal scraping

Doctors warned about this procedure after Mel B, 43, revealed she had the insides of her vagina scraped out and new tissue put inside after her bitter divorce with ex-husband Stephen Belafonte.

The procedure, which has been largely unheard of until Mel B spoke out, could lead to a serious risk of infection, experts have said.

Dr Jen Gunter – gynaecologist, obstetrician and author of The Vagina Bible – told Refinery29 that women should ‘never, ever have their vagina scraped’ – or even douched – which cleans the vagina using a douche and fluid.

She said: ‘Any scraping of the vaginal epithelium [tissue] could affect the vaginal ecosystem and theoretically could spread HPV locally and would increase a woman’s vulnerability to infection.

She added that the vagina regenerates itself every 96 hours and the surface cells are shed every four hours.

Current study: Is brewed Green tea with a glass of plain mineral water healthier?

So you make your green tea even healthier

Green tea is a drink which is associated with all sorts of positive health effects. Doctors found out now that consumers benefit from green tea, more of the antioxidants of the beverage, if you use instead of tap water, carbonated water, the calcium, Magnesium and filtered, and the iron concentration was reduced.

The scientists of the Department of Food Science Cornell University found in their recent study that antioxidants in green tea have a better effect, if the tea is brewed with still water from bottles. The experts published the results of their study in the English journal “Nutrients”.

More antioxidants in tea lead to a bittereren taste

If you drink green tea, your body benefits from the antioxidants contained in the drink, it may be advantageous to him with a glass of plain water from the commercial brew and not with tap water. So you can benefit from the antioxidants in the drink. However, more antioxidants also cause the tea tastes bitter, say the researchers.

Subjects drank black and green tea in the study

For the study, a total of more than 100 subjects were recruited. The Participants were then asked to taste black and green tea, which was brewed with bottled water, tap water and deionized water. In all Tests, the factors were adjusted, such as the aufbrüht temperature, the used vessel, the time and the water-to-leaf ratio. The scientists measured the content of epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) tea.

Prefer a healthier tea, or rather better taste?

The results of the study showed that the type of water used influenced the taste of green tea considerably. The Participating preferred green tea when it was brewed with tap water, since tap water produced a sweeter taste, as it was in the water from bottles to the case. What was lost in the taste, however, was made by health benefits of betting. The Brewing of green tea with water in bottles led to a doubling of the amount of EGCG, what caused the bitter taste.

In the case of black tea taste differences are too subtle

If you drink because of its health properties of green tea, you should use bottled still water, says study author Professor Robin Dando from the Department of Food Science. They drink their tea only for the taste, tap water is better, adds the expert. The Participants were not able to taste the difference, whether the drink was brewed with water from the faucet or water from the bottle, in the case of black tea. The author of the study Melanie Frank of Cornell University added that the average consumer of black tea see the difference, the taste differences are subtle.

Why is green tea with bottled water healthier?

Professor Dando is believed that the minerals contained in tap water, such as Calcium, iron, Magnesium, sodium, and copper cause the brewed green tea contains a lower EGCG content. Bottled water in which calcium or Magnesium was filtered, and the iron concentration to a level it has lowered, you can extract the EGCG is more efficient, adds to the doctors. With pure water you will get more health benefits by drinking the tea. (as)
